Simon Cowell is back in the news again, thanks to his latest hit Netflix series, The Next Act, which documents him trying to have another boy band rise like his group One Direction did, becoming the biggest hunk-throbbers of the early 2010s.
But there’s one part of the show that has my attention, as a scribe at Mid Breaker! ’s Lifestyle desk often writes about celebrity health, and seems to have escaped notice.
In the show, fans saw inside the 66-year-old’s no-nonsense eating plan and health regimen, which , it seems, he has been following since a back injury in 2020 changed the way he thinks about his health.
In a scene he is seen saying to his fiancée, Lauren Silverman: “Great salad Geoff has made” referring to their chef.” “This is how differently we eat,” he says, buttering his crumpet.
The music mogul then continued: “I now have to eat half of this now, and the other half for dinner! He also drinks half of it when he indulges in beverages: he sips on four 90-calorie beers a day and pours half of them down the sink to make shandy, according to the Daily Mail.
Simon Cowell’s health priority

Currently, the 66-year-old, the fitness guru is arguably in better shape than ever — and not just because he switched up his diet. He has been recovering from a 2020 bike accident, PEOPLE reported. Simon Cowell was driving his electric bike around the Miami property when he fell off and suffered an untimely injury, breaking his back in three places.
The publication added that he has been doing celebrity favourite workout reformer Pilates to bolster his back during recovery, as well as regular walking and other low-impact exercise.
The Six Pack Revolution founder and celebrity personal trainer, whose book Eat Your Way to a Six Pack is a Sunday Times Bestseller, spoke exclusively to Mid Breaker! On why Pilates is so hot, explaining all the benefits to us.

“Pilates is a fantastic strength program, and it’s so strong on the core,” he started. “It assists with working toward overall stability and posture and is an investment in your ability down the line.
The fitness instructor added: “Pilates has a big focus on body alignment, length, and stretch of muscles.
It helps prevent injuries and increases mobility from the first day through old age. “As we age, our posture suffers, so does the strength of our core muscles, and it can be difficult even to keep ourselves standing.”
After such an accident, pilates is the perfect form of exercise for Simon Cowell’s recovery, and it seems this focus on recovery from injury has changed his mindset towards his health altogether.
